The Story Behind the Name
Every brand has a beginning, but ours started in our living room.
For years, a Banksy print hung on our wall—a piece of art that, like the children I work with, was bold, disruptive, and impossible to ignore. It stood for questioning the "way things have always been done" and finding beauty in the unconventional.
When it came time to name this mission, I didn't find the answer in a textbook or a marketing meeting. I found it through the eyes of my son. He looked at that print, looked at the work I was doing to support kids like him, and suggested the name that stuck.
In that moment, the name became more than just a label; it became a bridge between a mother’s love and a professional's purpose.
Why this matters to you:
Just like the art that inspired our name, we believe that neurodivergence is not a "problem" to be solved, but a perspective to be celebrated.
Art is Subjective: Just like education, one size never fits all.
Disrupting the Norm: We aren't here to help kids "blend in"—we are here to help them stand out and thrive.
Authenticity: Our brand was named by a neurodivergent child, for neurodivergent families.
The Hero Image: If you can, place a photo of yourself in front of that print (or a similar street-art style graphic) at the top of the page.
The "Naming" Quote: Use a pull-quote on your website: "Named by my son, inspired by Banksy, and built for the neuro-distinct."
The Philosophy Section: Use the "Disrupting the Norm" bullet point above to explain that your "brand" of advocacy is about challenging outdated educational systems.
