Sitting Still

Hi I’m Harper, it’s my last year in primary school and I’m here to show you some things as an ADHDer that I found/find tricky and some of my solutions for them.

SITTING STILL

For me sitting still on the floor for over 20 minutes at school listening to the teachers is quite hard as I hate sitting on the hard floor. I keep thinking “as if I was able to sit still when my brain was going a million miles an hour'“. I would sit there wondering if I would ever get off the floor?!

But now that I’ve told you all of that, I’m here to tell you the magnificent thing that can help solve this ! Ready 3,2,1…. Fidgets, you don’t need a gazillion dollar fidget well unless you do? I can tell you three fidgets that will help 1and are nice and quite for the classroom.

1) Ice Cube[NeeDoh]

2. Gum Drop (also a NeeDoh)

3) A fidget cube.

They all work super well and I’m 99 percent sure they’ll work for you!

I will be back soon with more about what it is like to be a girl with ADHD in 2026.
