Who we are
The Bridge Between Home and School
I am an educator, a mother, and an ADHDer. For over 15 years, I have stood at the front of the classroom, worked in the quiet corners of early intervention, and advocated as a specialist teacher for children with complex health and cognitive needs. I have seen firsthand how the traditional education system can illuminate a child’s strengths or, conversely, how it can extinguish their spark. But my most important work happens outside the classroom.
The Truth I Live
I live and speak the truth of neurodivergence because it is my daily reality. I am an ADHDer myself, navigating the same transitions, executive functioning hurdles, and sensory complexities that I help my students and children manage. I am also a mother to two twice-exceptional (2e) children—gifted learners who also navigate the world through the lens of ADHD, OCD, RSD & Dysgraphia.
I know what it’s like to sit on both sides of the table. I know the professional strategies that work in a school environment, and I know the exhaustion of a parent trying to support an neurodivergent child at home.
My Philosophy: Connection Over Compliance
In my work as a teacher, tutor, and consultant, I move away from "behavior management" and toward neuro-affirming support. I specialize in working with children who have been "turned off" by education—the ones who feel the weight of their struggles more than the joy of their successes.
Whether I am supporting a school in evolving its inclusive practices or helping a family find peace in their daily routine, my approach is always:
Evidence-Based: Drawing on 15+ years of specialized pedagogical experience.
Neuro-Affirming: Honoring the way a neurodivergent brain is wired, not trying to change it.
Radically Empathetic: Providing a judgment-free zone for parents and educators.
Why I Do This
I understand the struggle because it is mine, too. I know that with the right environment and the right advocacy, neurodivergent children don't just "get by"—they thrive.
I am here to help you bridge the gap between "coping" and "flourishing," whether you are an educator looking for strategies that actually work or a parent looking for someone who finally "gets it."
